By using the website and sending a booking request through SapaPass, you agree to the terms below. Please read them before you book.
1. What SapaPass Is
SapaPass is a booking platform for travel in Sa Pa. It covers sleeper bus and limousine tickets between Hanoi and Sa Pa, train tickets between Hanoi and Lao Cai, guided tours and local experiences. These services are delivered by transport operators and tour organisers; SapaPass sits in the middle to receive, confirm and support your booking.
2. Booking and Confirmation
You must give accurate details for every traveller (full name, and passport or ID number where the service requires it). Wrong details can stop you from boarding a bus or train or joining a tour.
A request sent through the website is not yet a confirmed booking. It becomes valid only when the SapaPass team has checked availability and sent you a confirmation email.
If the service is full, we will suggest another date or time, or cancel the request at no charge.
The price shown is the price of the service described on that page. Anything not included is listed under "not included". For how to pay, see the Payment Methods page.
3. Schedule Changes
Bus and train times are set by the operator. If they change a departure time or cancel a trip, SapaPass will tell you and help you move to another departure or get a refund, according to that operator's conditions.
On walking tours, the guide may change the route or skip a section when weather or ground conditions are dangerous (heavy rain, landslides).
4. Your Responsibilities
Arrive on time at the pick-up point given in your confirmation email.
Judge your own fitness before choosing a walking tour, and tell us about anything we should know.
Follow the instructions of drivers, train staff and guides.
5. Limitation of Liability
SapaPass is an intermediary between you and the service provider. We are not liable for accidents, lost luggage or delays caused by a provider or by events beyond anyone's control such as natural disasters or disease, but we will help you deal with the provider to resolve the problem. We recommend travel insurance for your trip.
6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are first settled by negotiation; if that fails, they are heard by the competent courts of Vietnam.
