Simply show your SapaPass e-voucher on your phone at the Chapa Express VIP Lounge at Hanoi Station or Lao Cai Station 45–60 minutes before departure to collect your physical boarding pass.
We took SP3 up to Lao Cai and SP4 back to Hanoi in the Premium 4-Berth cabin. Having the VIP Lounge at Lao Cai Station before the return train with herbal tea and snacks was a lifesaver.
Booked the Suite Twin Cabin ($113) plus the private 7-seat MPV transfer to Sapa ($32). Check-in at the Chapa Lounge on Le Duan street was effortless and the beds were super comfortable.
